The Technical Ceramics Business is a leading supplier of bespoke, application-engineered industrial products manufactured from materials including structural ceramic, electro-ceramic and precious metals. Key markets for these products include electronics, aerospace, industrial equipment, healthcare and energy.
The Thermal Ceramics business is a world-leader in heat management solutions, serving a broad spectrum of industrial and non-industrial markets with insulation requirements ranging from 500°C to 1,600°C. Its high-temperature insulating fibre, insulating bricks and monolithic enable users to optimise thermal efficiency, reduce energy costs and improve environmental performance through reduced CO2 emissions. The business also provides passive fire protection for the industrial and construction sectors.
Products are manufactured from advanced insulating materials marketed under a number of leading brands, including SuperwoolR, JM™, Pyro-Bloc™, FireMaster™ and Tri-Mor™. They are used worldwide in demanding applications which are increasingly influenced by legislative and environmental requirements. Major markets include Petrochemical, Iron and Steel and industrial equipment.
