Divisional CEOs
Morgan Crucible has four divisions, Carbon, Technical Ceramics, Thermal Ceramics and Molten Metal Systems, each managed by a Chief Executive Officer. The four CEOs are also members of Morgan Crucible's Executive Committee.

Don Klas, Chief Executive Officer, Carbon
Appointed CEO Carbon in 2008.
Don joined the Group in 1980 as a plant engineer and has over a quarter of a century of experience with Morgan’s Carbon business. In his previous role as CEO of Carbon Americas, Don was responsible for 50% of the total sales revenue for the Carbon division. |

Andrew Hosty, Chief Executive Officer, Technical Ceramics
Appointed CEO Technical Ceramics: 2004.
Before his appointment as CEO, Andrew held a number of senior positions within the Morgan Crucible Group. A materials scientist, Andrew graduated with a PhD from Sheffield University. He was President of the British Ceramics Confederation from 2003 to 2005. |

Tim Hayter, Chief Executive Officer, Thermal Ceramics
Appointed CEO, Thermal Ceramics: 2007.
Before joining Morgan Crucible, Tim’s immediate past roles were Chief Operating Officer of Hampson Industries PLC and Chemring Group PLC, achieving significant growth in both companies. His career began with Rolls-Royce and progressed to various international general management roles in Asia and North America with Dynacast International.
Tim’s qualifications include a BSc in engineering, an MBA from the London Business School and he is a Chartered Engineer. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. |

Phil Wright, Chief Executive Officer, Molten Metal Systems
Appointed CEO, Molten Metal Systems: 1998
Phil joined Morgan Crucible in 1992 as Managing Director of Morganite Thermal Ceramics Ltd. Before joining the Company, he was Divisional Chief Executive of Aurora plc, a Sheffield-based engineering and metals group, where he worked from 1985 to 1992. Earlier in his career, he spent nine years with the industrial gases division of BOC plc in a number of product management positions, during which time he also obtained an
MBA. Phil is a metallurgist by training. |
