Carbon's primary products include carbon brushes, bearings and seals. Our main markets are transport (particular the railway sector), engineering (seals and bearings for pumps) and the defence industry (body armour).

Technical Ceramics applies knowledge of ceramic material with expertise in applications engineering to produce highly specialised components made to our customers' specifications. The industries we supply range from medical and security, electronics and semi-conductor to aerospace and defence.

Thermal Ceramics is a world leader in specialist refractory and insulation products for industries that require heat and energy management, including glass, steel and power generation. 

Molten Metal Systems designs and makes refractory crucibles, foundry products (such as ladles) and furnaces for the metals casting industry.
