Company overview
The Morgan Crucible Company plc was originally founded in 1856 in Battersea, London by the seven Morgan brothers. The original factory which initially produced patented crucibles and later applied carbon materials to produce components was a feature of the Thames riverbank until the early 1970s when production was moved to Morriston in South Wales. In 2006 the company celebrated 150 years of continuous trading.
Morgan Crucible is headquartered in Windsor and listed on the London Stock Exchange. The company’s CEO is Mark Robertshaw. It is organised for operating purposes into 4 divisions.
