Located in the Greater Toronto Area, Thermal Ceramics Canada has been supplying and manufacturing a wide range of refractory and high temperature products since the 1960’s. Our experience and success with solving heat management problems in Canada is next to none.

Thermal Ceramics Canada is the North American Center of Excellence for vacuum forming technology. We manufacture the entire range of Thermal Ceramics vacuum formed formulations, with a particular emphasis on high quality, engineered shapes. With state-of-the-art equipment and truly flexible manufacturing, we offer unique services such as 3D CAD modeling, CNC prototyping and net-shaped forming, all with amazingly quick turnaround times. In addition to this core business, we also manufacture flat ceramic fiber boards, duct wrap, die cut shapes and other value-added insulating products.

Serving primarily the Canadian market, Thermal Ceramics Canada directly services the aluminum market of Quebec, the Petrochemical industries of Alberta, and the automotive industries of Ontario. In addition to these large markets, we offer heat management solutions for the iron and steel, mining, power generation, marine, fire protection and construction industries.

Morgan Crucible Company has been trading in Mexico since 1905 when they registered the trade mark Salamander and as an integral part of Morgan Crucible Company’s global expansion as Grupo Industrial Morgan SA de CV. The plant was established 50 years ago in October 1958 in Mexico city as a small carbon brush manufacturing plant and selling imported crucibles.

In the mid 1980, Grupo Industrial Morgan SA de CV built a ceramic fibre plant in Atlacomulco and in 1998 Morgan Crucible increased their investment in Mexico by acquiring the Mexican company Refractarios de Hidalgo in Pachuca.

All ceramic fiber production has now been transferred to this new plant, with the most advance line of production flexible enough to manufacture all type of ceramic blankets such as Cera and Superwool fibers. This plant also manufactures castables and folded modules.

MTC Certech specialises in the manufacture of ceramic cores predominantly for aerospace and industrial turbine applications. Our cores allow the creation of internal cavities during the investment casting process that are too complex or too small to be shelled. We also manufacture porous ceramics and various foundry supplies.

Thermal Ceramics Centroamericana is responsible for the market in Central America and Caribbean countries. It was founded in 1989. The central office is located in Guatemala City and the plant has a capacity of 3000 metric tons, fabricating 2000 metric tons as average per year of refractory products such as dense and insulating castables, mortars, plastics and firebrick.

The most important market sector for our operation is the boilers in the sugar and power generation plants in the area. We have also the responsibility of the promotion and commercialization for high temperature insulating fibre product line manufactured by other TC companies worldwide. We are a leading company in our market today.

Recognised in the market by the trade name 'Alberox', New Bedford's skills represent the marriage of ceramic to metal using the Wesgo™ precious metal braze alloys. New Bedford is a fully integrated facility from ceramic mix preparation and component manufacture, metallising, brazing and testing of hermetic seals.

MTC Bolt Technical Ceramics is a distributor for both MTC Haldenwanger located in Germany and Yixing, China. Our products include rollers, tubes and other components for many thermal processing applications. We offer products in Alumina, Mullite, Silimantin, Fused Silica and Silicon Carbide.

This site manufactures piezoelectric ceramics and designs and builds transducers. Processes include Iso Pressing, Die Pressing, Tape Casting, multilayer electroding and co-firing processing

This site manufactures high volume alumina ceramic components and glass shapes. Recognised by the GBC™ trademark, products range from 94% - 99.5% alumina to a wide variety of sealing glasses. Processes are mix preparation, die pressing, and firing with the equipment dedicated to very high volume applications

This site manufactures custom made ceramic components from 94% - 99.5% alumina. The site has an extensive refractory metallising department and components can be supplied with Molybdenum or Molybdenum-manganese suitably plated ready for brazing. On-site processes include powder/mix preparation, Iso-static pressing, die pressing, slip casting, firing, grinding, metallising and brazing. Primary markets are Power Tube, Semiconductor equipment, lasers and medical.

Utilising the range of Wesgo Ceramics, the Fairfield site manufactures similar products to Hayward Ceramics but their focus is on prototype or small - medium production. Fairfield offers support to the other MTC sites but also excels in rapid turnaround for custom parts. Processes include Iso-static and die pressing, green machining, firing, and hard grinding.

This site manufactures precious and non-precious metal braze alloys, related metal products and brazed assemblies. Products are high purity, high temperature, low vapour pressure braze alloys of gold, silver, palladium and platinum. These alloys can be manufactured as foil, wire, powder, paste or pre-forms. Most products are made to customer specifications. On-site processes include batch and continuous vacuum melting, atomizing, wire drawing, rolling, melt spinning, laser cutting, coiling and metal stamping. Brazed assemblies include both metal to metal, and metal to ceramic assemblies. Technologies include both vacuum and atmosphere brazing utilizing traditional and active metal brazing.

The Thermal Ceramics Augusta, Georgia plant is the head office for North American operations.

Thermal Ceramics Augusta is also the central office for Customer Service, Engineering and Marketing for the US. Our sales representatives are located strategically around the US for complete market coverage.

The Augusta, Georgia plant manufactures a complete line of ceramic fiber products, both RCF and Superwool. Our product line includes:
